Flower Pot Card - Sunflower

Hello There!

Making a bunch of these for a customer who is having a Garden Party in June - Sunflowers are her favorite flower so I thought this one would be perfect. The inside on her card will have the party information instead of the blank space like this one has.

I found this on SCS but can't find the person that inspired me for the sunflowers...if you know, email me so that I can give her the proper credit! There is a tutorial on Stephanie Luman's blog for the flower pot if you woulld like to try some of your own.....click HERE

Quick Tutorial: I made the sunflowers by taking the scallop punch and cutting to the center on each "petal". The leaves were made by running the cardstock through the crimper and then folding in half and cutting out leaf shapes. Easy Peasy!

Thanks for looking -

Beth

Baby Shower Party Favors

Hi there! Happy Hump Day!

My DD's 4th grade teacher is having her first baby this month...so the kids decided to throw her a "surprise" baby shower. Since I am known as the "crafty Mom" in her class, they asked that I make some party favors for everyone. This is what I came up with! They are pretty cute in person, and were fairly inexpensive to make. I have to make about 40 of them. Also making a diaper cake to match, but no pictures of it yet.

Thanks for looking!
Beth

Mermaid Spinner Card

Hi! I know...2 days in a row!

I was at the NKY Shoebox Swap a couple weeks ago and made a similar card. Anne Venci you rock! Anyway, I had an order from a customer that wanted a Mermaid theme (NOT Ariel) for her DD's 3rd Birthday Party at a place called "Under The Sea"....I thought this design would be so cute!
Kind of hard to see on the photo, but mermaid has a lot of glitter pen on it and the bubbles are all Stickles - a lot of sparkle for a little girl! The fish in the circle is on fishing line (no pun intended) and will spin when the card is opened!

Long story short...found this stamp set from Lizzie Anne and loved how if came out! Sent it to the customer....weeeeeellllll....she loved the card design, but she thinks that the mermaid is a little too $exy for a 3 yo. Any other suggestions on other mermaid stamps that aren't Ariel and are baby-ish? Everything that I am finding looks like it should be tattooed on a sailor's arm! :)

Thanks For Looking!
Beth

SCS Box Swap - Mini Magazine Holders

Hi there! Happy Saturday!

I made these for a swap on Splitcoast Stampers.....I kinda like the way they turned out! I think that I will make more for a Craft Sale at the end of May at my DD's school.....maybe with a teacher/school theme with note cards for teacher gifts.

They were pretty easy once I sat down and really concentrated....here is the link to Becky Robert's Blog HERE if you would like the tutorial to make your own. Look on the left habd side of her blog under tutorials and you will find it there. She has a lot of great ideas...I visit her blog often!
