This is what I came up with for my DD's classroom....I made the "Top Note like" die cute from my Cricut Storybook Cartridge. It is pretty close to the Top Note Die from SU, but at least this one I can make in different sizes.

These bags are about 5.5 x 3" and c
an hold quite a lot of treats....haven't gotten that far yet though.

These are the results of my lack of sleep...
not sure what I will be doing with them yet!

These pictures are a little "wonky" - Lack of sleep!

Re-Post From Old Blog

I was asked by a co-worker to come up with an invitation for her son's dress rehearsal dinner. They were going to have a Picnic/BBQ in the backyard, and wanted something a little less formal. This is what I designed for them. They were extremely happy and came back 9 months later for me to design their baby shower invitations! These would also be great for a Bridal shower and everyone could write a favorite recipe on the insert.

The template for the apron can be found here: http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/barbecue.htm

Valentine Mailbox

My 10 year old DD decided that she wanted to make (or have ME make) something for her "very best friends" this year. Luckily, this year she only has 4 "VBF's" so I got off easy! After much debate, we happened to be in Target at the $1 spot and saw these Pink Metallic Mailboxes for $1.00! Ding Ding! We have a winner! Needed cute paper, so went to our LSS and found this Basic Grey patterned paper ! LUV IT! These are super easy, but a little time consuming getting the paper around the flag! But I was using my new "Wonder Toy" - My ATG Gun and they came out really cute! Once I get my Storybook Cricut Cartridge, I will be putting each girl's initial on the lid.

Here are some of the items that will be going inside...

  1. Little bubbles that I found in the wedding section at Hobby Lobby - covered w/matching paper, ribbon and a foamy heart
  2. Cupcake Bookmark - found them @ Joann's
  3. Love Potion and Candy Ring - from a local candy outlet

Valentine Office Treats

I decided to give a little treat to my co-workers this year. We could all use a little chocolate pick-me-up right now!

These are my version of a Sour Cream Container - filled with Reese Cups and Hershey Kisses! These are super easy to whip out in an evening watching TV....and so addicting!
If you would like to make some of your own, here is the link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/sour_cream_container/

New Year - New Blog!

Well...maybe the year isn't so new, but at least it's still January! I was really tired of the lack of options on my "other" blog, so decided to try this one! So far so good!

I will be adding a huge post with all of my recent creations on here...so bear with me for a while!
